It is reasonably priced. The services are very good, including a clean pool. It has magnificent and perfect location to see Monkey Trail Nature Preserve. There is a gorgeous à la carte restaurant, serving delicious dishes.

The staff at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi was hard-working and very supportive. We had early check-in and late check-out. - the pool bar and pool were clean and inviting. - the resort has an incredible location and very nice facilities.

The bonus of having cereal and pastries was great, and the location of this hotel, nestled by towering cliffs on three sides, felt secluded and peaceful.

Easily the best hotel i have been to in terms of hospitality. The sincerity of the staff in handling us comes naturally.
There were some foul smell at some parts of the resort due to the nature i believe. But that's about it.

Great natural setting with amazing cliff backdrop. Comfortable beds, and, from our room at least, a lovely sea view. Bottled water provided free of charge in the room.
Very hilly. More than 135 steps from the pool to our room. A lot more to some other rooms. Isolated. Quality of service was hit and miss. Sometimes ok, sometimes slow or requested items such as drinks / food simply forgotten. Drinks, including water by the pool / beach very expensive. During our stay there was a vomiting / diarrhoea bug going around the resort ( confirmed by letter from management).

This place was fantastic and comfortable with a spacious king bed, offering a delightful breakfast with affordable cereals and pastries, and located near a 7/11 and a beautiful bay.

Excellent location on a private beach. Large well designed rooms with large balconies. Exclusive away from thye standard Ao Nang crowd
Hotel services (bar etc) are over priced bordering on the excessive. Hotel allows guest to "reserve"their beach and pool chairs and then walk off the whole day thereby monopolising what is in effect a scarce commodity.

Location and surrounding nature are beautiful. Clean private beach, nice view. Facilities are well maintained. Staff are friendly.... and the monkeys too..... :-) It was an enjoyable stay....
To go back and forth mainland must walk through floating jetty to boat (quite fun, but scary when big waves), or, monkey trail.... not recommended for elderly people

I thought the location was good and the resort itself was set up nicely. It was clean and efficient. The spa was excellent (I'm a beauty editor so I have experience with these things). The Japanese food and breakfasts were excellent, but the food on the beach from On The Rocks was not good. The wrap and the hamburger I had were not very good at all.
This is not a place for a solo traveller. Do not come here if you're traveling alone because it's a very unsocial place and the guests do not mingle at all. I wasn't looking to "hook up" I simply would have enjoyed visiting with people on occasion. The resort is perfect for couples and families who are happy inside their little familial pods/units.

The breakfast was exquisite and felt unrushed. The location was a world away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang and the monkeys were an odd surprise. The beach was practically private with super comfy beach beds. The resort did have a boat transfe. Into town but this was 150 baht each way but felt like a novelty coming home at night in the pitch black by boat! We were also given an Anniversary cake
The location is peaceful but awkward to get to and from being no road or safe overland route (the monkey trail is a near suicidal option after a few drinks). You can walk into town across the beach at low tide but this is not always possible everyday. Familys would struggle a bit here but that does not put them off coming. We arrived by boat but had no one to take our bags at the pontoon. This is only relevant as the resort is quite large and you expect a better service fir the money paid. There is a lack of consistency with room upgrades. We stayed for 5 nights and had no upgrade despite paying more per night than other people who did get upgraded. However we did get a cake and petals on the bed and in the bath. The Spa is v expensive.
